Introduction
JK fashion, a brand that emerged in 2015, was started by founders, Roqaia and Jalila. The inspiration for their brand came from the founders’ passion for all things fashion. Co-founder, Jalila explains her particular affinity towards abaya and dresses, both of which represent her culture. The founders, Roqia and Jalila add that they are deeply inspired by the power of nature, which is lucidly reflected in their designs.
The style JK fashion follows is known as khaliji, which focuses on creating more fashionable abayas. The clothes designed by the founders can be worn at many events ranging from Eid to family gatherings. The colours too, match, JK’s brand identity which includes bold colours. One predominant colour in the collection is brown and gradations of brown, which symbolize the desert jacket that is so region-friendly. Warm tones such as burgundy and navy make their mark and are discernible in their winter collection whereas distinctive summer colours such as yellow, blue and orange are at the helm of the summer collection. Additionally, the founders also strive to create new colours by mixing them and their similar tastes in fashion help them achieve just that.
